For The Record: Firsthand Accounts “The Moors Murders”
HBO films wanted a way to tell the true stories behind a series of original movies that were based on actual events. We came up with For The Record: First Hand Accounts; a series of short documentaries that mixed archival footage and interviews of the real people with scenes from the movies and interviews with actors and filmmakers. This piece produced and edited by John Werner tells the story of Lord Longford and his relationship with the notorious child killer, Myra Hindley. It is a companion piece to the HBO Film Longford.
